Roger Rasheed – Bendigo Tennis Masterclass
Steve Storer and the team at Tennis Bendigo were thrilled to have high profile Professional Tennis Coach, Roger Rasheed (Elite Behaviour Specialist) in Bendigo to conduct two Tennis Master Classes on Wednesday 20th December, 2017 at the newly redeveloped, 6.2 million-dollar, Fosterville Gold Tennis Centre.
Roger Rasheed has guided some of the biggest names in tennis, including Lleyton Hewitt, Gael Monfils, Jo Wilfred Tsonga and, in 2017, Grigor Dimitrov.
Roger Rasheed presented two on-court sessions (3 hours in duration) with 44 players coming from all over Victoria to participate in the event.
Roger’s main focus was to have the players get the best value from their time on court, and how best to go about getting value out of every ball that goes over the net. The drills that Roger implemented mirrored that concept, so that players gained long term benefits from the sessions.
Roger also spoke about his experiences of being a Professional Coach, travelling all over the world and sitting court side at all the Grand Slam tournaments.
Roger was very impressed with the talent on show, and I am sure all those who participated were inspired by his advice and guidance.
