Tennis Bendigo Squad Training – Harry Trott Reserve, Neale Street, Kennington, Bendigo
2024 was the inaugural year for the Tennis Bendigo Squad. Players that were members of the squad this year were:
Maliha Dean, Shanali Wickramasinghe, Mia Collins, Layla Fitzpatrick, Gracie Seipolt, Mackenzie Davis, Rhyder Michielesn, Ethan Schoder, Ronny Epps, Jesse Crozier.
Congratulations to all our squad members involved in 2024! Training sessions were conducted on Monday evenings at Harry Trott Reserve and over the course of the year we visited Melbourne Park for a “Play Where The Champions Play” day. Also, the Tennis Bendigo Squad played a challenge match against Macedon Ranges Tennis Squad, and we had a day trip to visit David Starling (Tennis Australia Club Professional Coach) to play against his squad on the beautiful Kyabram Lawn Courts.
On behalf of the Tennis Bendigo Squad, I would like to thank Jarrod Epps who assisted in coaching the squad this year, Jarrod’s professionalism and the rapport he built with the squad was very valuable, thanks Jarrod.
In 2025 we plan to have these value-adds plus more … one will include linking up with the Vida Tennis Academy, watch this space!
There are 3 hardcourts at Harry Trott Reserve for the Tennis Bendigo squad to train on. We greatly appreciate the support given to our Tennis Bendigo Squad from the South Bendigo Football/Netball Club.

Monday 3rd February – 6.15 pm to 7.45 pm
Monday 10th February – 6.15 pm to 7.45 pm
Monday 17th February – 6.15 pm to 7.45 pm
Monday 24th February – 6.15 pm to 7.45 pm
Monday 3rd March – 6.15 pm to 7.45 pm
Monday 10th March – No training as this is the Labour Day long weekend.
Monday 17th March – 6.15 pm to 7.45 pm
Monday 24th March – 6.15 pm to 7.45 pm
Monday 31st March – 6.15pm to 7.45pm
Also, please note there will be one additional date to be confirmed to complete the 9 training sessions.
Fees for Squad Training for Term 1 is $275.00

Initiatives that are being planned for the Tennis Bendigo Squad are:
1. We will be developing a close link Vida Tennis Academy with a squad training session / squad challenge match-play sessions (dates to be finalised).
2. Dates are being finalised for a “Play Where The Champions Play” day trip to Melbourne Park for Term 2
3. A Squad trip to play against Kyabram at the Kyabram Lawn Tennis Club.
