Tennis Victoria John Fitzgerald Cup – Ballarat October 31st – November 1st 2011

Congratulations to the Loddon Campaspe team who finished 2nd in the John Fitzgerald Cup held in Ballarat.

This is a regional team challenge with 10 teams competing for all over the state.

The team included Isaac Watson, Ryan Leader and Easton Smyth who are all members of the Bendigo Squad.

Tennis Victoria also select four players from this competition to represent Victoria in a National teams competition. Isaac Watson has gained selection in the Victorian team.

This event is being played in Sydney.The Pro Tour is also in Sydney. It’s the Apia Sydney International it will have players including Del Potro, Hewitt and Baghdatis, Stosur and Wozniacki all playing. It will be a very exciting week of tennis, and a chance for Isaac to meet the stars. Isaac, Congratulations we all wish you the best of luck.
